After years of advocating for loved ones with intellectual and developmental disabilities, we recognized a widespread need: families were being introduced to the Self-Determination Program (SDP) but lacked the essential guidance to fully access its life-changing benefits.
Our founder, a former corporate leader and mother of a child with autism, made the intentional shift from boardrooms to living rooms. She realized that the same high-level skills used to lead organizations—strategic problem-solving, meticulous financial oversight, and clear-eyed advocacy—were exactly what families needed to navigate the complex world of special needs services. However, at Growthrive, this professional acumen is never cutthroat; it is softened and sharpened by a deep, intuitive empathy that only a mother, parent/s or family & friends walking this path can truly understand.
